We’re looking for a Procurement Analyst to join Mathem!

In this role, you'll be a key player in keeping our local procurement operations running smoothly, making sure data flows seamlessly to support how we bring goods into our warehouses. You'll take ownership of enhancing the technical aspects of our procurement parameters within RELEX Forecast and Replenishment. You'll team up with colleagues in global Procurement Development, local operations teams, and Procurement Specialists to deeply understand procurement needs and build solutions that optimize everything from product forecasts and safety stock models to managing incoming goods flow, really improving efficiency and availability here at Mathem. You will also work closely with our data and insight teams to ensure procurement systems are working well with other parts of the company Technology Stack.

To thrive in this role, we believe you're comfortable with complex RELEX systems and procurement processes, you're detail-oriented and passionate about delivering high-quality, efficient results. You're a confident communicator, able to clearly explain insights and build strong relationships to drive meaningful change in procurement.

What you’ll be doing as Procurement Analyst

• Own and elevate RELEX utilization as Mathem’s senior super user, managing procurement parameters and systems to ensure smooth operation and optimal utilization.

• Drive procurement process improvements by proactively monitoring our processes, identifying, and implementing changes that enhance efficiency.

• Lead forecasting and inventory optimization, overseeing seasonal planning, product group forecasting, and vigilant monitoring of inventory levels.

• Develop RELEX and procurement processes globally by partnering closely with the global Sourcing Development team to evolve functionalities and refine procurement processes.

• Represent Mathem’s procurement team by acting as the key representative within global procurement development initiatives.

• Collaborate on cross-functional development, actively contributing to initiatives and working closely with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective solutions.
  
  

What you’ll need to succeed 🌟

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.

• 3+ years of working experience in procurement, purchasing, or replenishment roles.

• Extensive experience using RELEX and its business rules, coupled with strong SQL skills. You also have a deep grasp of how RELEX operates behind the scenes.

• The ability to create business cases and communicate complex technical solutions from a business perspective.

• Analytical skills and ability to understand complex systems and data flows.

• Proven experience leading projects and taking strong ownership, comfortable working independently with limited support.

• Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language.
