Process Development Specialist

Delivering a broad assortment of high-quality, affordable groceries to thousands of doorsteps is a complex process, but we believe we’ve cracked the code. Using data-driven methodology, with a focus on sustainability all the way along the chain, we are creating the most efficient retail system in the world!
We are now looking for a Process Development Specialist, who will continuously develop and improve our day-to-day operations. In this role, you will lead development projects together with our local and global operations team, with the aim of continuously improving operations, whether it being from a safety/ergonomics, quality, capacity or efficiency point of view. With the end customer in focus, you will be translating their needs into operational development actions, managing projects, deploys, and creating the right tools for the team to succeed.
In this role, we will keep a strong focus on Lean methodology, using its principles and tools to guide our improvement initiatives. You will work cross-functionally with other stakeholders throughout our value chain. In addition to working as project leader, you will be the process expert in one of the three areas, Sourcing/Picking/Terminal and Freezer, meaning that you will be in charge of the Standard Operating Procedures and make sure that they are fully updated at any time.
What you’ll be doing in this role
Act as a “process expert” in the global initiatives for your specific area and ensure these initiatives are set up and run correctly, using your operational skills.
Be a project leader as well as contribute to improvement projects as a project member in the domain of Incoming & Restock in Dry and Cold or Picking areas
Gather and analyze data, draw conclusions, present your findings, and lead improvement projects end-to-end
Develop processes to enable our operations to deliver a world-class service to our customers
Own the SOP's, locally, for for your specific area and make sure they are updated with the latest relevant procedures at all times
Revise and together with learning development update content materials to the last procedures
Responsible for ensuring a well-planned implementation phase of the project with a defined handover to operational leaders. Assist in the implementation phase together with the local trainers
Experience and skills needed
You have a relevant bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant working experience from working with improvement projects
You have demonstrated excellent skills in leading and implementing substantial improvement projects with many stakeholders
You have experience with Lean methodology and used the method in improvement projects
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at various levels
Proficiency in collecting and utilizing data as a tool for decision-making
Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
What success looks like in this role
Continuous improvement: Take a leading role in identifying improvement initiatives in the operational processes with help from Lean methodology and fact-based analysis
Project management: Lead projects where you identify, plan, implement, and track project activities and deliver within the accepted time frame. You communicate in an efficient and understandable way with stakeholders and motivate the team members to reach the target. You ensure effective communication with Process training Responsible for making sure we have successful implementation of new processes
Project contribution: Contribute with valuable insight and resources into local and global initiated projects
SOP handling: You retain a good overview and understanding of the standard operation procedures within your process responsibility. You make sure there exists SOP’s for all necessary processes and that they are always updated according to best practice
