Online Sales Analyst, Mathem

How we analyse, evaluate and motivate our users on the web and app are crucial when we are building our store to become as personal and efficient as possible.

We are now looking for an Online Sales Analyst with the passion and goal set to make a real impact on our customers and our company. You will have all opportunities to do so. Mathem is backed by Kinnevik who has a track record of backing companies who successfully transform industries - from media to telco. Our office is and will remain in central Stockholm.

What will you do? 

Your job will entail, but is not limited to, identifying and analyzing trends across the full customer journey, providing insights and recommendations to drive additional revenue. The goal is to understand our users and campaigns as well as potential to drive a higher level of customer satisfaction and customer needs. In this role you report to the Head of Ecommerce where you together build a plan and strategy for your focus areas.

  • Analyze and evaluate real time events and detalization. Also report and optimize on ongoing and upcoming trends related to personalization, performance and A/B-testing
  • Throughout the user journey, and during campaigns, doing sales and segmentation analysis (including e.g.CLV - Customer Lifetime Value) to understand the user and customer better
  • Develop and maintain user- and performance reports/dashboards (ex. Data Studio) to monitor and visualize data from multiple data sources as actionable insights. Daily/weekly/monthly. 
  • Track online- and campaign data to produce reporting and periodic research on data sets to convert business information into business intelligence that will drive revenue and profit.
  • Set up weekly- and monthly reporting for campaigns and other efforts to share with other teams to learn from present- and past campaign performance
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis in consumer behavior to optimize on site development together with the Product team as well as strategies within eCommerce.
  • Ensure tracking and goal setting for analytics tools as well as A/B testing scenarios together with ensuring the setup of digital activities and KPI:s are tracked and aligned

Capabilities: 

  • Operational experience from advanced quantitative web analytics and previous experience from working with conversion optimization.
  • Data driven mindset and familiarity with database languages (SQL) and experience with generating data to present insights regarding customer, site centric and contextual data.
  • Previous experience working with CLV and attribution models
  • Experience of web/mobile analytics, metrix gathering, reporting and analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, including ability to generate, analyse and share complex data to provide recommendations - ability to use data to tell a story and drive initiatives

We believe the right candidate could look something like this:

  • BSc/BA in advertising or relevant field 
  • 3+ years of experience within the ecommerce/analytics industry
  • Knowledge of ecommerce/online analytics and connected tools (GA, Trello, SQL)
  • Experience with online experiments such as A/B testing as well as knowledge of website best practices, mobile design, SEO and UX
  • Self motivated, result driven and ability to prioritize and multitask 
  • Food interest is a bonus, but not a hard requirement
